These are the Community Guidelines that efii users are asked to follow in order to promote a positive experience for all.
As a global platform for collaboration and professionalism, the efii community is here as a place for interesting, thoughtful and helpful experience. With active participation, efii can be a great venue to start professional work relationships, share information, and gain a more engaging experience. Our community is founded on a few core values –– transparency, trust, and honesty. It is up to all of us to bring new ideas into the world, and to make sure that efii is a place that shares this spirit of support and professionalism. Help us foster this community. Respect everyone on efii and always follow the law, do not spam people or post nudity. Please familiarize yourself with the complete set of guidelines below. If you come across anything on efii that appears to violate these guidelines, use the “Report/Block” option to let our team know about it.
To protect the integrity of our community, as the provider of efii, we reserve the right to suspend any account at any time for any conduct that we determine to be inappropriate or harmful. You are free to appeal your suspension, but we are not required to provide a reason for our decision.
In addition to our Terms of Service, we provide the following guidelines for all user conduct and content on our Service. These guidelines fall under a common sense philosophy and apply to all video content, audio content, messages, channel content, communities, metadata, usernames, and any other activity on Our Service. Violating our Community Guidelines may lead to the suspension of your account and access to Our Service, as well as the removal of any associated content.
These guidelines are not exhaustive and We have full discretion to remove any content (which includes downloadable links, third-party apps and extensions) we deem inappropriate. This includes messages sent through private messages between users. In addition, We are not obligated to remove any content, even if it violates the Guidelines. You should understand that violating these Guidelines may have consequences ranging from a warning to banning.
Please take these rules seriously and take them to heart. Do not try to look for loopholes or try to lawyer your way around the guidelines—just understand them and try to respect the spirit in which they were created.
Do not spam.
Do not post spam—This includes link-bombing, promoting a project where it shouldn’t be promoted, sending unsolicited content or material, hyping third-party services, and using email lists from outside sources, to name a few. Do not post or create misleading descriptions, titles, or images in order to increase views. It is not allowed to post large amounts of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including private messages. The messaging system (and other communication means for connecting with other users) on efii are here so people can communicate, inquire, and ask questions — not for spam.
Do not be mean.
Conversation is an essential part of our community — we encourage users to talk to each other, especially when they have questions. All we ask is that those conversations stay honest and considerate. Do not post obscene, hateful, or objectionable content. Bullying is not allowed on efii. Do not defame, impersonate, or abuse another person. Do not share personal information about another person, including addresses or phone numbers. Do not post copyrighted content without permission. Hate speech targeted towards any group of people will be considered a breach of our Terms of Service and removed from efii. This includes hateful speech on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or nationality, to name a few. Please always have respect for our shared space and the other users visiting it. Maintain a professional environment: respect each other as professionals and human beings: efii functions as a platform for freelance services and is not a dating or paid companion service.
Do not post obscene content.
Posting graphically sexual content on efii such as text or pictures/images is not allowed. You can use your own pictures on efii but we do not allow posts that are gross, gory or pornographic.
You must respect all applicable local, national, and international laws while using our services. Do not post pictures you do not have the rights to— if you are not sure, do not post it. Any content or activity featuring, encouraging, or soliciting illegal activity is prohibit. Any activity that may endanger your own or others’ life or lead to your or others’ physical harm is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: suicide threats, intentional physical trauma, use of illegal drugs, and drinking excessively. Do not use efii to engage in or promote illegal behavior such as selling controlled substances or solicitation. Harassment, defamation, intimidation, raiding with malicious intent, or stalking of other persons or users, including our staff, Admins, or moderators, is strictly prohibited. Content or activity meant to impersonate an individual or organization is prohibited.
If you see something, say something.
If something seems suspicious, let us know. We review every report we receive, and we take action when we see someone violating our Terms of Service or these Community Guidelines. Sometimes that just means giving someone a warning; sometimes it means revoking certain privileges or accounts entirely.
We actively moderate the service and ban users who violate these rules. We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove content for violating these guidelines or for any reason, but particularly to protect our users and community. We treat references to self-harm and eating disorders seriously. Any posts glorifying these issues will be deleted. Thanks for using efii and being a part of our community.
